We are so happy to announce that for the first time, we are offering a sensory friendly performance for our Fall 2024 Main Stage show Annie Warbucks on Saturday November 16. Please contact us with any questions.

Our Sensory-Friendly performance will focus on the minimizing of lighting and sound

  • House lights will only be dimmed
  • No blackouts
  • No special effects
  • No loud noises
  • Reduced sound from the musicians
  • Audience members may enter and exit the theater as needed
  • Quiet space in the gym if audience members need a break
  • Audience members can feel comfortable vocalizing as needed during the performances

Tickets will be available for purchase online. A 3.5% convenience fee will be added to online and credit card payments.

Group Sales

Purchase 12 or more tickets on for a single performance and automatically get 10% off your order.

In-Person Box Office Sales

Purchase tickets at our Box Office at the theater at the Brosnan Building at 158 Laurel Avenue, Northport with credit card, cash or check. (A ticket service fee will apply to all credit card orders.)

Character Descriptions

Annie Warbucks (age 9-13, big-voiced – dances)
Vocal range top: E5 Vocal range bottom: A3
Oliver Warbucks’ new daughter. Still the spunky, friendly, outspoken girl we know and love.

Oliver Warbucks (age 40-60’s, tenor, able to move)
Vocal range top: G5 Vocal range bottom: B3
A successful businessman with a warm heart. Rich, stiff-collared, bullish.

Grace Farrell (ages 30-50’s), Mezzo soprano who dances)
Vocal range top: F5. Vocal range bottom: B3
Faithful secretary to Oliver Warbucks. She eventually becomes his love interest. She is poised, sweet, gentle.

Harriet Doyle (age 40-60’s, Alto)
Vocal range top: B4. Vocal range bottom: G#3
Commissioner of the New York City Department of Child Welfare and a bit of a scheming bureaucrat. Ruthless, stubborn, conniving.

Sheila Kelly (age 30-50’s Mezzo)
Vocal range top: B4. Vocal range bottom: F#3
An employee of the Child Welfare office and Commissioner Doyle’s partner-in-crime, she attempts to marry Warbucks. Deceitful, smart, insincere.

Charlene Grace (C.G.) Paterson (age 11-15, soprano)
Vocal range top: D5. Vocal range bottom: A3
Ella and Alvin Paterson’s daughter. A sweet girl who becomes very close to Annie.

Ella Paterson (age 40-60’s, alto / mid-soprano)
Vocal range top: D5. Vocal range bottom: E3
Loving mother of C.G., she looks out for Annie. Kind and wise.

Rev. Alvin T. Paterson (age 40-60, tenor) Southern sharecropper, preacher, and father of C.G.

Drake (age 40-60, tenor, dances) (Could be male or female)

Executive Butler to Oliver Warbucks. Loyal, caring, observant.

Pepper (age 8-15, big voice, dances) The bossiest orphan. Likes to take control.

Peaches (age 8-15, big voice, dances) A sassy new orphan who might just be bossier than Pepper.

Tessie (age 7-12, big voice, dances) An orphan and good friend of Annie.

Molly (age 7-9, big voice, dances) She is the youngest orphan.

Simon Whitehead (age 40’s+, ensemble vocals) Oliver Warbucks’ attorney.

Mrs. Pugh (age 40’s+, ensemble vocals) Oliver Warbucks’ head of household.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt (age 40-60’s, ensemble vocals) U.S. President

Senator Arthur Vandenburg (age 40’s-60’s, non-singing) U.S. Senator from Michigan.

David Lilienthal (age 40-60’s ensemble vocals) Public administrator who becomes head of the Tennessee Valley Authority.

Price (age 40-60’s, ensemble singing) One of Oliver Warbucks’ accountants.

Waterhouse (age 40+, ensemble singing) One of Oliver Warbucks’ accountants.

Fletcher (age 18-30+, ensemble singing) Oliver Warbucks’ chauffeur.

Miss Clark (age 30-50’s, ensemble singing) The orphanage matron.

Harry / Miss Harry (age 40-60’s, ensemble singing) Clerk in the Child Welfare office.

Dr. Margaret Whittleby (age 40’s+, ensemble singing) A child psychologist.

Mr. Stanley (age 40’s, ensemble singing). A mill foreman in Tennessee.

Gladys (age 16-35+, ensemble singing) White House secretary.

John Garner (age mid-60s, ensemble singing) Vice President of the United States.

Warbucks’ Staff, Orphans (male & female, age 7-60+ years, singing, must be able to move/dance).

Rehearsals

Rehearsals begin on Monday, September 16th. Rehearsals are Mon-Thursday, 6:30-9:00* (time increases closer to the show.) Occasional Friday is possible. Daytime rehearsal on Saturday, 11/2

Cast and Crew Requirements

Cast and crew must download, fill out and submit the documents/forms below. Participants ages 16 & over will be required to volunteer one shift to help the theater operate.  Parents of children will also be asked to serve one volunteer shift either during the rehearsal process or during the show run.
