Adult Auditions – Mon, Sept 11 from 7:00-9:00pm

Kid and Adult Auditions – Tue, Sept 12 & Wed, Sept 13 from 7:00-9:00pm

Auditions and Performances at Brosnan Theater, 158 Laurel Avenue, Northport, NY. Open to children 1st grade and above. Be prepared with 16 measures of music from the show of your choice. There is a $40 participation fee for being in the production.

Tickets are on sale now.

Tickets will be available for purchase online. A 3.5% convenience fee will be added to online and credit card payments.

Group Sales

Purchase 12 or more tickets on for a single performance and automatically get 10% off your order.

In-Person Box Office Sales

Purchase tickets at our Box Office at the theater at the Brosnan Building at 158 Laurel Avenue, Northport with credit card, cash or check. (A ticket service fee will apply to all credit card orders.)

Character Descriptions

Buddy
The role of Buddy is cast

Santa (Male: 50’s-80’s)
Just another workingman. Loves his job and Christmas, but also likes to kick back and watch the game when a rare opportunity arises. A natural storyteller. 
Vocal range: E4-A2 (Baritone/Tenor)

Jovie (Female: 20’s)
Buddy’s girlfriend. She works at Macy’s and has a bit of a cynical outlook on life and love because of the men she’s dated. She is caught off guard by Buddy’s genuinely big heart. 
Vocal range: D5-G# (Alto/Mezzo Soprano)

Walter (Male: Late 40’s-early 60’s)
Buddy’s workaholic father. He is a Children’s book writer but lacks any of the childlike spirit that Buddy has. He is selfish, tense, and generally angry with life. 
Vocal range: G4-A2 (Baritone)

Emily (Female: Mid 40’s-50’s)
Walter’s wife. Though she is sweet and willing to take him in, she thinks Buddy is crazy at first. Wishes her husband would spend more time with the family. 
Vocal range: Eb5 -E3 (Mezzo Soprano)

Michael (Male: 11-16)
Buddy’s stepbrother. He is excited to have a new friend and brother. Unlike his mother, he doesn’t take much convincing to have Christmas spirit, but like his mother, he wishes his father would spend more time with the family. 
Vocal range: G5-F3

Deb (Female adult)
Walter’s secretary. Takes an instant liking to Buddy simply for the novelty of it. Though she aims to please and is a bit of a suck-up, she feels underappreciated. 
Vocal range: Eb5 -D4 (Alto/Mezzo Soprano)

Manager (Male: 40’s-70’s)
A heavy-set manager at Macy’s. He is a good, friendly guy just trying to do his job and get by. Vocal range: F#4 -B2 (Baritone/Tenor)

Greenway (Adult: 40’s-60’s)
Walter’s boss. He is what Walter will become if he continues down the path he is on. A tyrannical, workaholic who cares nothing about the people around him or who work for him. Singing role

Chadwick
Partners with Matthews and is a key member of Walter’s team. Chadwick is desperate to keep their job. and is the clueless one of the pair.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals for Cinderella will primarily be Monday thru Thursdays from 7:00pm – 9:00pm and will start the week after auditions. There will occassionally be rehearsals on Friday evenings and possibly during the day on Saturday closer to the show. Rehearsals during tech week may end at 10:00pm or later.

Cast and Crew Requirements

Cast and crew must download, fill out and submit the documents/forms below. Participants ages 16 & over will be required to volunteer one shift to help the theater operate.  Parents of children will also be asked to serve one volunteer shift either during the rehearsal process or during the show run.
